I have tickets to An Adventure Dinner…now what?

A. We can’t wait to host you! 48 hours prior to the date of your event you’ll get an email from us with the final details for your Adventure—including what to wear, what to bring, and what to expect. If you have anything you forgot to let us know (dietary constraints, celebration news, etc.) you can reach us at KC <at> adventuredinner.com

Is there a waitlist for sold-out events?

A. If we are able to offer more tickets, we do alert a waitlist. To sign up, go to the “Shop Tickets” page, click the event you’re interested in. You then scroll to the bottom of the product page, enter email and click the “Sign Up” on the waitlist.

Full transparency here: it is not often that we are able to offer additional tickets to events.

Do you allow for allergies or dietary restrictions?

A. Of course! We offer vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free/dairy-free options; simply indicate those at check-out. And, as always, we offer N/A options for those who wish to have an alcohol-free evening. We need at least 72 hours’ notice for any allergies or restrictions.

What if I don’t drink?

A. We offer alcohol-free options at every event! Make a note at checkout and we’ll have delicious, paired drinks for you at dinner. We firmly believe that the community act of drinking does not need to include booze, and we always always always offer alcohol-free bevies for our events. We put the same amount of care and consideration into our mocktail pairings as our wine and cocktail pairings.

How Much Are Tickets To An Adventure Dinner?

A. We added new kinds of events to offer a variety of price points for our guests. Our signature Adventure Dinners include four courses and four paired drinks, and range from $160-$180 + tax.

Our monthly Family Meal dinners include three courses of themed cuisine (trust us: come hungry), and are $75 per person with drinks for purchase at the dinner.

We also make an effort to pop-up with our bar and grills at community events around the state (like the South End Get Down in Burlington) that do not require a ticket.

Can I transfer my ticket(S) to another event?

A. If you can no longer attend the event you purchased tickets for, you are welcome to share your tickets with friends or family. Due to the complicated nature of our events, we are not able to offer refunds or transfer your ticket credit to a different event.

Do we get to see the menu ahead of time?

A. The menu and the drinks will be revealed to you at the event—it's all a part of the adventure! Although sometimes we can’t help ourselves and we’ll share teasers on Instagram.

Do you offer refunds?

A. We are happy to allow for tickets to transfer between friends or families. Due to the complicated nature of our events, we are not able to offer refunds.

How Long is an Adventure Dinner?

A. Our sit-down dinners typically last about 2.5 hours, from our introductory gathering with cocktails/mocktails to our signature sparkler closing ceremony.

What happens if it’s bad weather?

A. Most of our events are rain or shine, and super fun either way. For any that are weather-dependent (like our sailing adventures) will clearly state such when you purchase. In the event of a shine-only event being canceled, you will receive a full refund.

Is there tipping?

A. If you enjoy your experience, tips for our hard-working crew are very much appreciated! As a general guideline, 15 to 20% is industry standard.

Is there a dress code?

A. Dress yourself in the way you love to! We will specify if an event calls for specific apparel or gear—like XC skiis or snowshoes for Love Trek, your best costume for a spooky dinner, or closed-toe shoes for a hiking adventure!

Can my dog come? Can my kids come?

A. While the majority of our events are NOT furry friend or kiddo-friendly, we will explicitly let you know if an event is! For example, all of our picnics are kiddo and fam-friendly.

Are your events ADA ACCessible?

A. ADA accessibility is dependent on the venue where our event is hosted. We are currently working on being more transparent and providing accessibility details for each of our events. If you are unsure about a specific event, you are absolutely welcome to contact us with your accessibility needs (we do apologize for that extra labor on your part as we work on this).

Do you offer events out of state?

A. No, not yet—but we wanna!

I’m celebrating something special, can you help?

A. You are welcome to let us know in the notes if you are attending one of our events as a celebration (e.g. anniversary, birthday, graduation)—we love to call out celebrations at our events! Rest assured, we treat each one of our guests with the same care and attention, so whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or not, you’ll feel like a star.
