Killeen Crossroads Farm TAKEOVER Dinners
July 12 and July 13, 5:30 pm
Killeen Crossroads Farm, Shelburne, VT
SOLD OUT
Adventure Dinner is coming to Killeen Crossroads Farm for two days as we host the ultimate chef-driven, farm-to-table dinner!
Join Chef James Kitchens (Adventure Dinner) and Chef Breana Lai Killeen (formerly EatingWell Magazine’s Test Kitchen Manager) as they host you for a 4-course ode to their Chinese and Filipino heritage using the Asian vegetables, eggs, and chickens raised on the farm. You’ll be treated to a multi-course meal paired with cocktails and wine as you saunter through this beautiful property in Shelburne.
The night will kick off with a refreshing aperitivo cocktail served from a 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser turned bar–a perfect sip to have in your hand as you tour the fields, learning about the innovative and sustainable agricultural practices the Killeens use for raising chickens, cows, veggies and fruit.
For dinner, we’ll head down to an open-air kitchen for a feast cooked over open flames. Each course is paired with drinks to take you on a journey through the homestyle Asian cooking that set a culinary foundation for both our Chefs. (Delightful non-alcoholic pairings available upon request.)
We’ll end our adventure with dessert on the farmhouse porch and patio, lingering in the golden hour rays—a perfect end to a summer evening on the farm.
Limited tickets available for this intimate two-night engagement.
ABOUT KILLEEN CROSSROADS FARM
Killeen Crossroads Farm strives to enhance and improve their land using regenerative agriculture and rotational grazing. Their hillside earthwork consists of 2 acres of terraced garden beds for vegetable and flower production, all of which use low-till and organic farming techniques to continually build the soil and protect the land. All of their 300+ chickens are free-range and the grass-fed lowline Aberdeen cows are rotated every 3 days to improve the soil health.
