Fire, cocktails, sunset--this was the summer fete we had all been dreaming would happen. Guests arrived at a Cornwall orchard and received a map to explore the farm as one only hopes--wandering through a maze of old apple trees to discover feasts hidden between the groves. 

Starting with clambake a la plancha--a tantalizing combination of sea and fire--and ending with a sit-down feast facing the Adirondacks at dusk, this was an unforgettable meal and adventure.
