Adventure Dinner: Tokyo Olympics
Saturday, July 25
Windsor, VT
We spent the summer (safely!) celebrating our favorite events, kicking off the Olympic festivities with a Tokyo-themed dinner!
To kick off the event, guests took a blissful summer drive to Southern Vermont, rocking out to a custom playlist, where we waited in a Japanese Garden of delights! We wandered the 1000 hemlock maze and discovered our secret location in the garden, part of an idyllic 14-acre zen sculpture wonderland. Our Izakaya-inspired feast was prepared by Nomadic Chef Lauren Gammon, who grabbed the best produce Vermont has to offer to prepare delicious Japanese delicacies.
Guests were texted the secret pick up location 24 hours ahead of time; we waited to pass the torch with a 3-course Japanese-inspired feast, 3 courses of paired cocktails, a fold out poster filled with creative Olympic brilliance, and a link to a private dinner Zoom page with all the details to keep guests on track through their virtual dinner.
Once home, you’ll unpack your goodies along with to the instructions on your private page and for how to tune in for our opening ceremony. For dinner, you’ll break into small private dinner parties with other guests on the Adventure! After dinner, we’ll group back together for a closing ceremony and final thoughts from founder Sas.
For an extended at-home party, we’re offering additional treats you can add to your order, such as more cocktails, Savouré sodas, and coffee, so the summertime celebration can go last all week.
