Vineyard Harvest Feast

For this magical evening, we wine-d down with a celebratory harvest feast at Ellison Estate Vineyard, a regenerative farm tucked in the Islands with sweeping lake views.

Traditionally during harvest season, everyone at the farm sits down to a slow, family-style feast midday during picking. Our vineyard adventure payed homage to that longstanding winemaker tradition, with newly released Ellison wines at the center of the fun. We ventured across Lake Champlain as late summer gave way to early fall, the air crisp and sunlight low in the sky. As guests arrived, we greeted everyone with bubbles to wet their palettes for a special tour the grapevines. Along the path, our team was hidden amongst the ripe fruit with the first course and wine pairing to be enjoyed while wandering the rows.

We were floored to have the talented Chef Scott Como of Healthy Living cooking over wood fire for our harvest celebration. He treated us to a slow cooked feast of late-summer produce and a succulent porchetta to pair perfectly with the juicy wine pours we kept flowing all afternoon long.

After we filled ourselves on savory goodness, we wandered to a lake view lookout for sweet treats and an amazing glimpse of the moonrise over the lake. The perfect nightcap to an evening on the vineyard.

Each ticket included: five naturally made Ellison Estate wines, four courses, and joyful vineyard exploration.
