Lace up those hiking boots and join us to take foliage season to a whole new level at Southern Vermont’s best-kept secret, Merck Forest & Farmland!
This special collaboration is an immersive culinary experience—pulling out all the stops to show you peak foliage with peak Adventure. We’re scattering four fire-cooked courses–each highlighting the farm bounty of the season–along a two-mile trek through the forest and pasture. Each stop is strategically placed near farm barns, breathtaking vistas, and prime fall colors for a fully immersive foliage experience.
Our trek ends at the Maple Sugar Shack, where you can kick back and relax, take in your last course and paired drink, and soak in stunning foliage views.

Adventure Dinner tickets are $175 per person (plus 9% + 10% VT Rooms and Meals Tax) and include: $10 donation to Merck Forest, a two-mile course through the woods, four farm-s courses at four stations, four aperitif-inspired beverages (alcohol-free available upon request), sunset view of the rolling mountains boasting fall foliage.
Please note: this is not a sit-down dinner, it is a progressive feast that takes place along a two-mile hike.
This event is rain or shine and a blast either way. When you purchase tickets you’ll be prompted to select a staggered start time (or select no preference); the whole experience takes approximately 2 hours to enjoy. If there is serious weather predicted, our event will take place the following day, Oct 13.

We are happy to allow for tickets to transfer between friends or families. Due to the complicated nature of our events, we are not able to offer ticket refunds.
With advance notice, we offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and alcohol-free options. Please indicate any dietary restrictions in the registration form at checkout. If we CANNOT accommodate any dietary restrictions, we will note that clearly in the event description above.
We offer non-alcoholic options at every event! We give them the same attention and care, ensuring each drink is delicious and perfectly paired. Make a note at checkout that you'd prefer N/A.
We’re so lucky to have an amazing photographer at each of our events to capture our experience together. We use these photos for promotional purposes for Adventure Dinner on social, web and press. And we share photos here on our site so you can enjoy them too!
