The Jungle Book Garden Party

Adventure Dinner: Jungle Book Garden Party

We took over the historic Naulakha property where Rudyard Kipling once lived and famously wrote The Jungle Book! We were joined by Chef Nevin Taylor of The Crooked Ram (just named Top Bar in the US by Esquire!) who designed a four-course, four-cocktail feast fit for this one-of-a-kind place!

Guests parked up the road and followed a private, wooded trail to the grand house of Naulakha! We began with a few rounds of badminton on the historic grounds accompanied by welcome drinks and an impressive spread of oysters, bits, and bites from Chef Nevin. The party traveled through the stunning lush rhododendron tunnel (during peak bloom!) where a long-table dinner awaited, filled to the brim with platters of melt-in-your-mouth meat, fire-kissed veggies, and nasturtium flecked salads from our award-wining chef.

The novel adventure was book-ended with lawn games on the sweeping green, dessert served on a century old portico, and of course a cocktail to match.

Stay safe during COVID-19: masks and social distancing are still required for all Adventure Dinner events. For in-person events like this, we send a COVID questionnaire ahead of time. Stay healthy, stay safe, stay adventurous!
